Favorite Anime/Manga Series: I'm a super casual anime fan so I'm not big on it. But some of the stuff I've enjoyed are Lupin The 3rd, Cowboy Bebop, One Punch Man, Samurai Champloo, and Last Exile to name a few. Manga is hard for me to digest but I am totally open to them as someone who reviews comic books for work so feel free to surprise me.
Is there anything you absolutely do NOT want to receive? Again, no porn. No joke gifts. Also, no sports games unless it's arcade-style i.e. Forza Horizon series, Mario Tennis, etc. I also don't collect Funko Pop figures nor statues. I also have a hard time reading novels these days as I think it requires intense concentration which I don't have. I don't drink coffee but like energy drinks and tea. Coffee flavored snacks are fine. I hate the taste of gin.
Favorite Games/Genre/Series: Dragon Quest series, Yakuza series, The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros. 3, and Final Fantasy VII/IX are some of my faves. Big Nintendo fan of course. I've also been into Bloodborne lately. Some of the other games I enjoyed this year are Yakuza 0, Judgement, and Yoku's Island Express. I like most genres but enjoy exploration games, JRPGs, and platforming games (just not masochistic stuff like Super Meat Boy and Dust Force).
Favorite Music: I listen to a lot of jazz, rock, hip hop (mostly 90s rap), and game OSTs. Latin Music too (bachata, merengue, Brazilian music, some salsa, etc.) Mostly though it's public radio and podcasts these days. The Adventure Zone, the Giant Bombcast, Radio Free Nintendo, Super Marcato Bros, The Bowery Boys, and Reply All are some of my faves.
Extra Info: I enjoy sweet, savory, and spicy things (within good reason). I'm far more interested in things that tell me about where you live i.e. a local artist or goods exclusive to your area. I like wearing accessories (ring size is 12 IIRC) because they say a lot about people. If you made it yourself or had it made from a local artist, even better.

If you plan to get me art supplies, jetpens.com is a good resource since I focus on ink, watercolor, and alcohol-based markers (Dick Blick has Copic-like markers I've used). Better yet, go to a local art supply store. Conversely, books on anatomy and urban sketching are welcome. I have been trying to get back into digital drawing/painting.

As for comic books, some of the series I've enjoyed are Blacksad (I have a Blacksad: Silent Hell and Blacksad (collection of short stories), Scales and Scoundrels, The Fix, Monstress, Cosmic Ghost Rider, and Coda. Some of my favorite artists are Erica Henderson, Kim Jung Gi, Geoff Darrow, Matt Kindt, Jillian Tamaki, and Gaby D'Alesandro to name a few.

I guess I'll add a note to films. I don't collect Blu-Rays of any kind. I'm an odd duck when it comes to films as I rarely pay to watch a movie by virtue of volunteering/working events like film festivals. A lot of stuff I'm into tends to fall into the documentary or Indie flick realm. One of my favorite films is definitely Spider-Man: Into The Spiderverse though since I saw it early this year and enjoyed it.

I don't know what else to add other than I saw Matthew Broderick and J.K. Simmons at a theater at DOC NYC last week so there's that for most recent celebs I saw.

Here's my Amazon wishlist for ideas but as I always say every year, think outside the box. I'm quite easy to please. I know it's a lot of info. Otherwise, having fun sleuthing and surprising me. I mostly post in niche threads all over the place but there's plenty you can gain about me out there.

FYI to my would-be SS: I don't open gifts until Christmas Day since that's my personal tradition. Not midnight but Christmas morning proper after I've woken up. I have pretty good willpower on that end. As I say every year, the reason why I do so is to retain some of the magic of opening gifts like I used to do as a child.

If you look at your TT's wishlist, there's an option for "mark as purchased". So it's possible, but your Secret Santa may or may not use that feature.

I didn't provide a specific wishlist because someone buying the exact thing(s) I want takes all the fun out of it for me, but I'll give some general information in this thread. Hopefully that's OK.

I enjoy classical music/opera, figure skating, mathematics, puzzles, treasure hunts, classic films, astronomy, LEGO, Disney (animation and theme parks), hiking, and more. I'd be thrilled with almost any kind of gift, including homemade, but I do ask that no clothing or NSFW items be included. I'm fairly picky when it comes to style and "adult" items don't interest me and I don't want any gift to go unused. Also, music streaming+existing library means I have access to everything I want in terms of music listening, so as a practical matter, albums, CDs, etc. are probably not a good idea. I'm a huge Disney fan. It's all about Mickey, Minnie is just too frilly and girly for me. I love houseware stuff, ornaments, woven blanket throws, and everything Disney.

I also love Legos. But I have all the Princess lego sets, except the new Frozen 2 sets. I have posts in the lego ot of stuff I've built/have.

I also love cooking and bbq'ing. I do my holiday dinners on the smokers every year. So rubs, sauces, handy tools for cooking, I'm all for it. I'd love a thermopop (they usually run sales) or one of the fancy wifi set ups for the smoker. Totally out of price range anyways.

I would love homemade or local gifts. Or anything that is special to you that you'd like to share.

Clothings: 2xl in men or womens.
Fabrics: Anything that is not polyester. Especially blankets, clothing, jackets kind of stuff. I feel like it makes me old, but polyester is just so uncomfortable and hot.

Favourite Games/Genre/Series: Sci-Fi and Fantasy as an umbrella. Soft spot for JSRPG. Love crazy and dumb stories from Yoko Taro and Kojima. Currently playing Death Stranding. But I play a little bit of everything yet unfortunately tend to not play indie type games since I'm always working and only have a finite amount of time to sit down so I indulge in the bigger budget titles.
Favorite Music: Idk man, my playlist is stuck in the late 90s/early 2000's. Like bubble pop, alternative.
