Lmao, will it just keep adding six months every time you try to cancel?
I don't think anyone wants to try it and risk it, lol.Can you cancel once you get the 18 months free set up? Or will you lose access once you cancel it?
i cancelled and it still works and said it would expire in july 2022. to be honest i don't even care if i lost access as i just signed on for the hell of it.
Thanks for the confirmation. :Di cancelled and it still works and said it would expire in july 2022. to be honest i don't even care if i lost access as i just signed on for the hell of it.
maybe they are trying to make their viewership numbers look high for the switch to paramount plus. That seemed too easy... I will be surprised if this actually works for 18 months
I use a Roku don't have any issues with CBS all access.
I cancelled the sportsline account and CBS All Access still works.I think he meant why not cancel the second time.
You need to cancel the first time after signing up, because they'll attempt to keep you on after to extend it another 6 months, which is how you get to 18 months eventually with the $9.99. So only do the first cancel to ensure that you get the extra 6 months with the initial $9.99 for the year with the promo code.
To answer his question, I feel that many just have not tried to cancel it the second time so you don't miss the cancel date down the line, but not sure if the membership will stay active like other services that if you cancel early you still get the rest of the sub, which it should, but probably don't want to risk it.

You just press the cancel button thats right next to the "extend subscription for 6 months" option. I just cancelled mine and it says 2022Do you really need to email to cancel or is there a way to do that on the website?
At checkout it's telling me you need to email to cancel.
Can you check out ep 1 of season 4 of The Good Fight and tell me if the lighting is fine?

When it asks me to select a subscription plan, I select the 9.99 one and enter the PLAYOFF promo code beneath it and it says "couldn't find coupon".
2. Sign up for 1 year subscription, and enter the promocode PLAYOFF
Have you used that email for anything CBS related before? I think people were having problems because of that. When it asks me to select a subscription plan, I select the 9.99 one and enter the PLAYOFF promo code beneath it and it says "couldn't find coupon".

No, you select the $99, one year subscription. The PLAYOFF code takes the one year subscription from $99 to $9.
I don't believe so. I was checking Amazon's FAQs, and they seem to indicate that you should just access those through those other apps, even on Fire TV.Is there a way to connect this to my Amazon Prime account, so that I can just use the Prime Video app? The CBS app seems to be awful on my Shield TV (Tube). It's slow and even crashed
Yes, you still have access to your sportsline account until your expiration date.
From my experience, yes.So if i got the extra 6 months (up to July 2022) from doing the first cancel and backing out, if i cancel for real now, will i still keep access to everything?
It will. My account wasn't subscribed when I did this yesterday. So to be clear, if I already have a CBS account that's been inactive for a couple months, this won't work with it?
Already have Hulu with commercials. Is this with our without commercials by chance?
I have no idea what's going on. Everything in the app is just washed out and low brightness despite the TV being at max brightness, but if I airplay the same episode to the Roku, it runs fine.
Is there a list of whats on CBS all Access? I have heard of it but never knew what they offered.
