Cross-gen games are going to be like that, unfortunately. Trailer got my interest, though 👍Nice teaser but a bit underwhelmed with the visuals here, considering it's PS5.
Generally Cosmic Horror, as opposed to just horror, refers to otherworldly/ cosmic/ inter dimensional threats that are far too alien and powerful for humans to understand, let alone fight with any hope of actually winning.
Good examples are Lovecraft books and anything "Cthulhu" related (often refered to as the creator of CH), Event Horizon, Annihilation, Dead Space, SOMA, Control / a lot of the SCP stuff...
Basically it is horror delving into Alien stuff but so far removed from human comprehension that it drives people to despair + insanity. Also delves quite often a bit into body horror, but not necessarily.
Looks kind of terrible honestly. Reminds me of a 360 era bargain bin type of game. Outside of the concept of it I'm surprised people are actually into this.
common sense. not even more powerful hardware like a 2080Ti can do that without assistance. maybe if they use some kind of upscaling and reduce the RT effects to something like shadows, AO, or reflections. but "full advantage" tells me they want to use damn near everything, and that's a big ask
The game name is Quantum Error though :pIs this the next gaming trend? Naming games after literary subgenres
Cyberpunk
Cosmic Horror
Soon we shall have Young Adult and Gothic Romance
I don't know if you're trolling or being honest, but in case it's the latter: same
Finally, after Quantum Redshift and Quantum Theory, the long-awaited trilogy will be completed.
Quantum break already made it a trilogy. This make it a tetralogy.
This looks kind of awful, surprised at the activity in the thread.
The genre and style has a certain appeal so nothing wrong there. But also it's a PS5 title and the dev is actively talking about their PS5 version so that's gonna draw more attention.
TBH I'm not sure they even know much about it / have dev kits. This whole thing screams putting the cart before the horse.
They didnt its a rocket launcherAll the tweets are telling me is that they have very enthusiastic PR, lol.
I can't believe they'd put RPG elements... in a shooter? The absolute mad lads.
Quantum Theory DLCI can't be the first person who initially thought from that title that this was a Quantum Break sequel, nor shall I be the last.
Mostly to do with art assets and materials. It kinda looks like a straight up ue4 prototype to me.Nice teaser but a bit underwhelmed with the visuals here, considering it's PS5.
