Update on my new Epi Les Paul Goldtop: It has no factory issues (bad frets/paint/binding/etc.) but I'm just not bonding with it. I like it, but I don't love it. It's heavy as hell; heavier than my Jazz Bass! Not sure I love the neck even though I typically prefer bigger ones. Might just be a hair too big for me. I'm going to try a '60s, a '59, and a Custom in-store when I get the chance and see if I like the necks better. Or maybe I'll end up with an SG. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I've wanted a Les Paul for decades at this point so I'm kind of disappointed. I'd post a pic but it's already boxed up and ready to ship lol. It's beautiful, though.

That's kinda lame on their part tbh. You waited and then they're like "nah, sorry"
