Series X:

• 60fps is 1800p to 2160p
• 120fps is 1080p to 1440p; temporally upsampled to 2160p

Series S:

• 60fps is 900p to 1080p
• 120fps is 540p to 900p; upsampled to 1080p

One X:

• 30fps is 1800p to 2160p

One S:

• 30fps is 900p to 1080p

The minor frame rate drops when running in the 60fps mode on the Xbox Series consoles were only found in some matches. The severity of the frame pacing issues on the Xbox One consoles varied without an obvious cause.

The Xbox Series consoles appear to be using Variable Rate Shading which can result in some double width and double height pixels being visible in the frame.

Xbox Series X and Xbox One X have performance and quality modes available but there doesn't appear to be a difference between them at the moment. The 120fps modes are accessible by setting the Xbox Series consoles to output at 120hz.

Was supposed to for the campaign but since they haven't talked about it, I doubt it's gonna be in at launch.

This bodes pretty well for the release version considering this build is from late May or early June and the devs specifically commented that it lacked some optimization passes they've done since then. Native 4K60/1440p at nearly 120 on Series X would be sweet if they got it that far.

Imagine final release will be a lot more optimized. I think they'll want to hit 60 on last gen consoles. And please for the love the god optimize PC.

Campaign: ~1440p+ ~45fps, temporal upsampled to 4k
MP: ~1440p 60fps locked, temporal upsampled to 4k

Xss:
Campaign: 1080p 60fps locked, temporal upsample to 1080p when resolution falls under 1080p
MP: 1080p 120fps target, temporal upsample to 1080p when resolution falls under 1080p

Xsx:
Campaign: dynamic 4k 60fps locked, temporal upsample to 4k when resolution falls under 4k
MP: dynamic 4k 120fps target, temporal upsample to 4k when resolution falls under 4k
