Montreal but the "leaker" forgot
Weird that the rumor doesn't include Massive Entertainment, since we know they are working on The Division 2 plus the Avatar game.
Boring is pretty much the perfect description for Ubisoft nowadays.
Was Crew 2 really that bad ?
Or is there just no space for casual racing games anymore except Horizon.
I heard -but take it with a huge grain of salt because it's coming from a friend of a friend- that the game is in dev limbo and that the pre-production of Watchdogs 4 is actually more advanced than WD3.
That list of what all the studios are working on is inaccurate and missing a lot.
And the stuff about SC? :)That list of what all the studios are working on is inaccurate and missing a lot.
Wasn't New Dawn the spinoff? Doubt they'll invest so much more into that game.
I have a hard time believing that Montpellier is working on BGE2 by itself.

Far Cry IP needs to end, seriously. Far Cry 5 was a total letdown and the fun factor in those games are ruined by its collectathon approach and too-big-for-its-own-good open world. Cannot believe another friggin' Far Cry takes precedence over Splinter Cell.
It's impossible for me to definitively say "There is no Splinter Cell game in the works" (and, knowing how Ubisoft functions, it's likely that there's some project in pre-production that will one day take on the Splinter Cell IP) but everyone I've talked to who knows things about Ubisoft has said that as far as they know, there's no Splinter Cell coming any time soon.
That's the thing, Ubisoft don't really develop in a single studio, and that's the reason why this rumor is fake, as that list is too tight to be realistic. Most studios work on 2 or 3 titles at the same time. That's why their production pipeline is so great and efficient.Blue Byte, Ubisoft Montpellier, Bordeaux, Sofia and Barcelone are working on BGE2
Ah oke thanks. More maybe if you heard about the VR SC game and alot of studios taking a jab at it?It's impossible for me to definitively say "There is no Splinter Cell game in the works" (and, knowing how Ubisoft functions, it's likely that there's some project in pre-production that will one day take on the Splinter Cell IP) but everyone I've talked to who knows things about Ubisoft has said that as far as they know, there's no Splinter Cell coming any time soon.
