It is probably a mistake since we know it didn't reach 1m in the West yet.

It is not on the million-seller list for this fiscal year on Nintendo's financial report. Only BotW, MK8D, SMO, Splatoon 2, MTA and DKTF sold 1m+ this fiscal year for Nintendo published games.

I'm not sure Nintendo publishes that data for games like Octopath where its just published by Nintendo in the West.
This is what I thought as well but I might be mistaken. Wouldn't we have FE Warriors numbers if that was the case? That's a million seller afaik.

Last fiscal year, Pokken was on the list despite being published by TPC in Japan. FEW crossed 1m yes but with Switch + 3DS versions combined. It didn't cross 1m in the West on the Switch alone.
Are you sure Pokken was on the list? I remember reading about it in the report but not sure about the list.
Anyway for Octopath it's much more likely they were just talking about the press release SE had for the 1M sold.

Fortnite bundle is MyNintendo store exclusive so it won't be tracked.

They really are taking the multiple SKUs strategy these Holidays. Minecraft will sell incredibly well so I am expecting big quantities of this bundle.
Strange. Based on the current info. It seems Octo also hit 1 million. Maybe it is still under 1 mil on the west there.

Not that it needed confirmation but this is the first time Nintendo says they are done with 3DS.
Now I wonder where they will put Kirby. Golden Week is the best period for a title like this but it's far away and there isn't any other title from them or third parties in 2019 to keep the userbase somehow active.

I always thought it would be March, before the current fiscal year ends. I don't expect 3DS games next fiscal year.

If they want to finish with 3DS software logistics in Japan it's the only road. West will continue at next fiscal year though.
I'm thinking March will be for Yoshi. I could see DxM taking Golden Week's spot next year. Have Fire Emblem launch in May. Possibly Animal Crossing in July.
I think Chris was referring to the 3DS Kirby, but he wrote Yoshi instead.

I don't see a lot of excitement for RDR2 second weeks sales but maybe anecdotal is wrong. The blog could leak first week numbers before official report.

Super Mario Marty, Fortnite and Minecraft bundles are just a regular Switch packed with the game without any saving at money.

76k would be quite low for RDR2, but nothing else can really do those numbers this week I think...
Thought 200k average would be pushing it, but looks like it's not that crazy... Definitely going to be tough, especially without 3DS.
Would be low indeed, but GTA5 also didn't open with fantastic numbers on PS4. What really made the difference was the legs, and we'll have to wait a bit for those.
That would still be the best opening for the series according to Famitsu data (66k for the original on PS3).
